Healthy ingredients are what Canada's Black Sheep Organics says are the essence of why their grooming products are so good for dogs.

The proudly Canadian company got started creating products to use in their own "little organic dog spa in Vancouver, BC, back in the day when there were no truly healthy and natural grooming products for dogs. We were a little (okay, a lot) eccentric at the time!"

While they're not quite that small anymore, they are still able to make business decisions based on what they think is "best for the health of your dog, and best for the health of the planet. We don't have to cut costs because we're not a large company with shareholders to answer to," says the company website.

Black Sheep selects high-quality ingredients and chooses recyclable packaging from other local businesses. They also "manufacture our products close to home in British Columbia," they say. There's natural shampoo that's incredibly gentle and will have your dog "smelling delicious," says Black Sheep. "Made from the highest quality natural and organic ingredients, they're bio-degradable, vegan, gluten-free, and certified cruelty free."

Meanwhile, it's no secret that brushing our teeth is necessary, and Black Sheep says it's just as important for your dog, noting their toothbrush and paste do the job. "Healthy teeth and gums are a key factor in your dog's overall health."
